The Leapmotor C10, which was launched last October by Stellantis Malaysia, has now gained some updates for the 2025 model year. The major update is the price drop from RM159,000 to RM125,000, which is RM34,000 less. This price drop puts the SUV EV right in the lanes of BYD Atto 3 and Proton eMAS further expanding the options for the customers.

Along the price drop, the C10 also comes with other updates, which include an upgraded 11kW on-board charger (OBC) which replaces the 6.6kW unit. With the new OBC charger, the AC charging time of the car from 30% to 80% will be two hours faster; reducing it to four hours from six hours.

Additionally, the C10 also now comes with a new Direct Tyre Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS), which, according to the company provides, real-time tyre condition data, and a motorised tyre inflator pump kit. Apart from the charging and safety aspects, there are also some features added to the design and practicality of the SUV.

These updates start with the 32-litre frunk (front trunk) and added is a tonneau cover for the rear luggage compartment which has the capacity of 435 litres and 1,410 litres with the rear seats folded. Furthermore, the cabin of the C10 has also received some updates, with the Midnight Aurora cabin now available with black upholstery. Also, the Glazed Green exterior now comes paired with an exclusive Camel Brown interior, replacing the previous Criollo Brown.

However, there are no changes done to the powertrain of the car which comes with the Permanent Magnet Synchronic electric motor that delivers 160kW (214hp) and 320Nm of torque. The motor is powered by an in-house assembled 69.9kWh Lithium-Iron Phosphate (LFP) battery that offers NEDC driving range of 477km.

Last April, Stellantis and Leapmotor has made an agreement to make the C10 into a CKD model. The assembly of the car will take place at Stellantis’s facility in Gurun, Kedah.
