ASUS Malaysia announced the availability of its new TUF Gaming laptops. These laptops are refreshes of the existing range, with the main refreshed component being the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 50 Series laptop GPUs.
In total, The new TUF Gaming series comprises three SKUs: the F16, A16, and A14. Starting with the F16, this model is available in two CPU configurations, the Intel Core i5-13450HX and the Core i7-14650HX. Both laptops come with an RTX 5060 laptop GPU, plus the 16-inch FHD+ (1920 x 1200) IPS panel with a 16:10 aspect ratio and 165Hz refresh rate. Additional specs include 16GB DDR5-5200 RAM, 512GB of PCIe 4.0 storage, and a 90Wh battery to power it all.
Pricing for the TUF Gaming F16 starts at RM5,999 for the model with the Core i5-13450HX and RM6,499 for the Core i7-14650HX model.
Moving on, the TUF Gaming A16 is the AMD variant of the same lineup, featuring AMD’s Dragon Range Refresh CPU, which in this case, is the Ryzen 9 8940HX. Additionally, the laptop GPU is an RTX 5070 8GB GDDR7, while the rest of the specs are a 16-inch QHD+ (2560 x 1600) IPS panel with the same 16:10 aspect ratio and 165Hz refresh rate; 16GB DDR5-5200 RAM; 1TB of PCIe 4.0 storage, and 90Wh battery to provide a couple of hours of full gaming on the go.
The TUF Gaming A16 retails for RM7,299.
Lastly, there’s the TUF Gaming A14. As its name suggest, the laptop comes in a smaller 14-inch form factor. Specs-wise, you’re looking at a laptop fitted with an AMD Ryzen AI 7 350 CPU, an RTX 5060 8GB, 32GB LPDDR5X-7500 RAM, 1TB PCIe 4.0 storage, a 14-inch WQXGA (2560 x 1600) 165Hz display, and a 73Wh battery. Price-wise, the laptop retails for RM7,499.
All TUF Gaming laptops are already available at all official ASUS stores and authorised resellers. From now until further notice, ASUS is also bundling each laptop with a free TUF backpack.
