A couple of weeks ago, MVNO redONE launched a new postpaid lineup called postpaidPLUS. There are two new plans under the category, offering a massive data quota for heavy users with a separate quota for hotspot usage.
First up, the postpaid packages start from RM38/month for the postpaidPLUS38 plan that comes with 130GB of data with uncapped speeds, as well as an additional 50GB just for hotspot. At RM48/month, the postpaidPLUS48 plan offers 150GB of internet alongside 100GB of hotspot data. Additionally, both plans are paired with unlimited calls and no contract.
The launch of its new postpaid plans comes just a few months after the CelcomDigi-powered operator introduced its ULTRAplus prepaid plans. In case you were unaware, the company offers the ULTRAplus25 plan with 100GB of data that includes 10GB of hotspot alongside the ULTRAplus35 plan that is paired with a 250GB quota, of which 50GB can be used for hotspot.
Oddly enough, this means that the ULTRAplus35 plan is cheaper than postpaidPLUS 38 and offers more data even when you combine the regular and hotspot quotas. Moreover, the prepaid option gets you the same amount of data as postpaidPLUS48, with the latter only offering less mobile usage and more hotspot usage.
