Last week, Moore’s Law is Dead (MLID) made a claim that NVIDIA was making an ARM-based APU, with enough power to rival its last generation GeForce RTX 4070, and a potential launch window set between Q4 2025 and Q1 2026. Now, a new report suggests that the APU could see the light of day by the end of this year.
The source of the report is the Taiwanese publication United Daily News, who claims that NVIDIA will not only debut its chip by the end of the year, but also via an Alienware laptop. As a quick primer, it has been reported that NVIDIA and MediaTek have been in cahoots, developing what is believed to be an ARM-based APU, designed for laptop gaming.
The specs of the APU in question are still unconfirmed but MLID did say that we could expect a processor with a peak TDP of 120W. In any case, we’ll just have to wait until the end of this year to hear more.
