In conjunction with its one-year anniversary, AEON Bank has announced that it will be giving points cashback for all grocery purchases, even the ones made at non-AEON stores. Running from 26 May until 31 December 2025, the promotion is applicable for those who have an AEON Bank debit card.
Through the promotion, customers can get 8x AEON points for every RM1 spent at any grocery store in Malaysia, excluding online transactions, using the physical debit card, equivalent to a 4% cashback. Moreover, shopping at AEON stores, excluding department stores, using the card will gain you 9x points, equivalent to a 4.5% cashback.
Of course, when using the card to shop at non-grocery stores, you can still can one point for every RM1 spent, equivalent to a 0.5% cashback. That being said, this cashback programme is set to expire on 31 May, along with its other promotions such as the 0.88% profit rate for its savings account, the debit card issuance fee waiver, free AEON Mall parking, the term deposit rate, and more.
While the 3% profit rate for its savings pot was similarly scheduled to expire at the end of this month, AEON Bank announced earlier this week that this will be extended until 31 August 2025. The digital bank also recently started offering free ATM withdrawals nationwide, applicable until 31 December.
