Sony has announced the launch of the Reon Pocket Pro, a wearable body cooler that is an upgrade to the Reon Pocket 5. Compared to its predecessor, it comes with an improved battery, better cooling, and is even quieter.
The Pro model features two independent thermo-modules and a new heat-dissipating fan, giving it twice the cooling area and twice the heat absorbing performance. Through its sensors, it can automatically turn on when it detects when the user has equipped it and it will also automatically adjust the cooling level based on the temperature and humidity.

At Level 1, the Reon Pocket Pro can last up to 34 hours on a single charge, while enabling Smart Cool mode will cut the usage time to 15 hours. Moreover, Sony claims that the upgraded model is now 50% quieter. That, along with its compact size, makes it a more discreet wearable device. For controls, there are now buttons on the side so that adjustments can be made even without a smartphone.

The Reon Pocket Pro will be available in Malaysia from July 2025 with a retail price of RM1,199. Globally, it will be sold in a total of 22 countries across Asia, Europe, and the Middle East.
