Infinix has officially unveiled the Note 50s, its latest mid-ranger smartphone with a fragrant twist. While it does offer some impressive specs at a very affordable price point, the phone is attempting to stand out with a scent-infused back panel, exclusive to the faux leather variant, but the company did not disclose how long the aroma would diffuse for before it eventually fizzles out.
Scent aside, the Note 50s is fitted with a 6.78-inch 1080p AMOLED display with a 144Hz display and a peak global brightness of 1,300 nits. Under the hood, it houses a MediaTek Dimensity 7300 Ultimate with support for 5G, Wi-Fi 6, and Bluetooth 5.4. For protection, it gets Corning Gorilla Glass 5, drop resistance, and an IP64 rating for dust and water resistance.

Imaging-wise, it features a 64MP primary shooter, a depth sensor, and a 13MP front camera. Powering it is a larger-than-expected 5,500mAh cell with support for 45W charging, as well as reverse and bypass charging.
The Infinix Note 50s will be launching in Malaysia alongside the Note 50 Pro Plus and the Note 50x on 22 April 2025. According to local retailers, it will be sold with a price tag of RM899 for an 8GB+256GB configuration.
