Earlier this month at MWC, HMD unveiled a new pair of earbuds called the Amped Buds that can also top-up your phone. It achieves this by offering a charging case that can also double as a power bank for your other devices.
The Amped Buds is fitted with 10mm drivers in each bud along with Snapdragon Sound technology. It comes with active noise cancellation as well as support dual connection, Google Fast Pair, and Google’s Find My Device network. For durability, the buds themselves have an IP54 rating for dust and water resistance while the case has IPX4 splash resistance.

Design-wise, the buds pop in and out of the slim case with a spring loaded mechanism. With a 1,600mAh, the buds can provide up to 95 hours of music playback using the charging case, while a single charge lasts five hours with ANC and eight hours with the feature disabled. As for the power bank aspect, the case is equipped with both a port for wired charging and Qi2 support for wireless charging your smartphone.

The HMD Amped Buds is now available on the brand’s official Shopee store at RM799. It is offered in blue, black, and pink colour options, although it seems that only the blue model is in stock as of writing.
