Shokz has officially brought the OpenFit 2 in Malaysia over a month after its initial launch. The open-ear earbuds get the same price tag as its predecessor but comes with improved audio quality, a more comfortable design, less sound leakage, better durability, and new control buttons.
To start with, the OpenFit 2 sports two drivers in each bud using its DualBoost technology for highs and lows. With its open-ear design, the buds do not block your hearing at all, allowing you to be aware of your surroundings while using them, but, of course, that comes at the cost of no noise cancellation features except for voice noise cancellation during calls.
The company also introduced a new DirectPitch 2.0 feature, which claims to reduce sound leakage at maximum volume while reducing power consumption. As for the battery life, the buds can last up to 11 hours on a single charge while the total battery life adds up to 48 hours when combined with the charging case. Additionally, it gets Bluetooth 5.4 and an IP55 rating for dust and water resistance.
The OpenFit 2 are available for pre-order now on the brand’s official Shopee store, retailing at RM899. You can choose between black and beige colour options.
