Meizu now has three new smartphones in Malaysia, namely the two models from the Note 21 series and the mBlu 21. This is on top of the MYVU AR smart glasses that were made available here earlier this month.
Let’s work our way down, starting with the Note 21 Pro. It sports a 6.78-inch 1080p LCD display with a 120Hz refresh rate and a peak brightness of 550 nits. Under the hood, it runs on a MediaTek Helio G99 chipset paired with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. For connectivity, all three models support 4G and Wi-Fi 5, but only the Pro gets NFC; the Note 21 lineup gets Bluetooth 5.3 while the mBlu is limited to Bluetooth 5.0.
On the optics side, the Pro features a 64MP main camera as well as a depth sensor and a 13MP selfie shooter. Powering it is a 5,000mAh battery with support for 30W charging. Additionally, all three models ship with Flyme OS based on Android 14 and come with a side-mounted fingerprint scanner.
Next up is the vanilla Note 21, which has a 6.74-inch 720p LCD display with a 90Hz refresh rate and a 450-nit peak brightness. It is equipped with a Unisoc T606 chip alongside 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage.
Imaging-wise, it is packed with a 50MP primary camera, a depth sensor, and an 8MP front snapper. It is backed by a 6,000mAh cell, the biggest battery capacity of the three, with support for 18W charging.
Last but not least, there is the mBlu 21, which is the most affordable of the bunch. It gets a 6.79-inch 720p 90Hz LCD display with an unspecified brightness rating. Inside, it has the Unisoc T606 chip with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage; it uses a 4,900mAh battery with an undisclosed charging speed. The budget device comes with a 13MP main camera, a depth sensor, and an 8MP selfie sensor.
All three models are in the entry-level category, with the Note 21 retailing at RM549 while the Pro gets a price tag of RM699. On the other hand, the mBlu 21 is being sold for RM399.
