UMW Toyota today unveiled two new car models on floor at KLIMS 2024, the 2025 Corolla Cross and 2025 Camry. Both cars are Hybrid Electric Vehicles (HEV), offering a range of features and creature comforts.
Starting with the 2025 Toyota Camry, the new model is available in the 2.5 HEV variant to deliver exceptional performance tailored for diverse driving needs. Not your average hybrid car, the powerful 2.5 HEV is engineered with Toyota’s fifth generation Hybrid System, combining the Dynamic Force Engine and a compact electric transaxle together with a lithium-ion high-voltage battery to deliver increased power, reduced emissions, and outstanding fuel efficiency, proving that this new model launch is a new chapter in sedan excellence.
On the outside, the front of the 2025 Camry displays a new Hammerhead styling, a slim upper grille and wide lower grille, designed to create an air of sophistication and aggressive stance. Inside the caib, the car offers ventilated seats for both driver and front passenger, as a redesigned steering wheel, and a 12.3-inch display with support for Apple CarPlay and Wired Android Auto.
Pricing for the 2025 Toyota Camry starts from RM248,800 for the 2.5 HEV model, and is available in six premium colours: Cement Grey, Dark Blue Mica, Precious Metal, Emotional Red, Platinum White Pearl, and Attitude Black.
Moving down the list, the 2025 Toyota Corolla Cross builds on the popularity of its predecessor. Like the 2025 Camry, the new Corolla Cross is an SUV that comes in three flavours: an HEV GR Sport variant, a non-sport 1.8 HEV, and a standard 1.8V.
The new Cross also shows off a new front grille design, an updated bumper, and sportier looking Bi-LED headlamps. For the HEV GR Sport variant, that model features an exclusive two-tone black roof. On the inside, it gets a 12.3-inch Multi-Information Display (MID), plus a 10.1-inch Display Audio system that pairs with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.
Pricing for the 2025 Toyota Corolla Cross starts at RM133,800 for the 1.8V, RM140,800 for the 1.8 HEV, and RM148,800 for the HEV GR Sports, before all the additional extras.
