The time is now if you’re thinking about getting the iPhone 15 series if you feel like this year’s models are still too pricey for you. As per usual after a new launch, Apple has knocked down the prices of last year’s devices, and quite significantly too.

Listings on the company’s official Malaysian website shows you can now get the base iPhone 15 and the Plus variant at starting prices of RM3,499 and RM3,999 respectively. This is a substantial discount, as both phones originally launched at RM4,399 and RM4,899 respectively last year.

The knocked down prices mentioned above are for the 128GB configuration, so if you require even more storage, rest assured that the 256GB and 512GB options are still available on the site. These are now priced at RM3,999 and RM4,999 respectively for the base model, while both configurations for the Plus variant are now priced at RM4,499 and RM5,499 respectively.

According to Apple’s website, both the iPhone 15 and its Plus variant are still available in the various colourways that were introduced at launch. These include Blue, Pink, Yellow, Green and Black.

Additionally, you can choose to trade in your older or existing devices to get from RM200 to RM4,750 credit, or purchase the new iPhones in a monthly instalment for 24 months with 0% interest. The former depends on your current device’s condition and market pricing, while the latter varies depending on which model and configuration you’re planning to get. After purchase, you can choose to have your new device delivered, or collected directly from Apple Store TRX.

It should be noted that the knocked down prices mentioned above are only offered through Apple’s official store for the time being. At the time of writing, local authorised distributors such as Switch and Machines still list the iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Plus at starting prices of RM3,849 and RM4,849 respectively.

So what about the iPhone 15 Pro models? Unfortunately, rather than slashing their prices, Apple has completely removed both phones from their website, likely to make way for the next-gen Pros. But if it’s of any consolation, both Switch and Machines are now offering the iPhone 15 Pro and Pro Max starting from RM4,849 and RM5,849 (RM5,814 via Switch). For your reference, both models debuted at starting prices of RM5,499 and RM6,499 respectively last year.
