Nothing has confirmed that its upcoming Phone (2a) Plus smartphone will be powered by a new MediaTek Dimensity 7350 Pro chipset. In a post shared on X (formerly Twitter), the company claims this will be a “world exclusive”, indicating that the phone will be the only device to feature this specific component.

It is also revealed that the Phone (2a) Plus is 10% faster than the base model, while the onboard GPU is promised to offer clock speeds that are 30% higher compared to the one featured on the Dimensity 7200 Pro. Additionally, the teaser hints that the chipset will be accompanied by 12GB of RAM, and will support 8GB RAM boost via virtual memory.

This 8-core processor clocks up to 3.0 GHz, making Phone (2a) Plus nearly 10% faster overall than Phone (2a). Born for gaming, the Mali-G610 MC4 GPU runs up to 1.3 GHz, making it 30% speedier… pic.twitter.com/pHfTUz5zm6

Unfortunately, the company is still keeping most of the Phone (2a) Plus under wraps. Therefore, details regarding its camera setup, battery, features and even design are still not known at this time. However, Nothing’s previous teaser is somewhat hinting that the phone could potentially feature wireless charging, which is a function that was absent in the base model. There’s also a speculation that it may feature a larger display size based on the “Plus” designation.
