ZTE seems to have quietly launched a new entry-level smartphone in Malaysia called the V60 Design. It seems to be an even more affordable version of the budget-friendly V60, with a lower-resolution screen as well as less RAM, but it still comes with the same software features such as Live Island.
The V60 Design sports a 6.6-inch 720p LCD display with a 90Hz refresh rate. Under the hood, the phone runs on a Unisoc T606 chipset paired with a single configuration offering 6GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage. On the software side, it ships with MyOS 13 based on Android 13 and for audio, the entry-level device’s speakers support DTS.

For imaging, the V60 Design packs a single 50MP primary camera alongside two other sensors, leaving out the macro lens from the V60. Powering the low-end smartphone is a standard 5,000mAh battery that supports 22.5W wired fast charging. Regarding connectivity, it supports 4G, Wi-Fi 5, NFC, and Bluetooth 5.2.

The V60 Design comes in violet and blue colour options, retailing at only RM499. It is available for purchase from the brand’s official Shopee store.
