Infinix is set to introduce yet another smartphone into the already-crowded Note 40 series, this time with the Note 40X. While no detail about the phone has been officially revealed by the brand, there have already been several leaks about it and it seems that upcoming device will also be making its way to the Malaysian market.
The Note 40X was listed on the SIRIM database on 26 June 2024 with the model number X6838. When it arrives in Malaysia, it will be the fifth variant from the lineup to be made available here but for now, it is unknown when exactly it will be launched by the company.
Earlier this week, PassionateGeekz published what its claims to be a live image of the upcoming budget smartphone as well as some of its key specs. If the image is to be believed, then the Note 40X will be differentiated from the rest of the series by the lack of an Active Halo LED light on the camera island.
As for the specs, it will reportedly feature a 6.78-inch 1080p display with a 120Hz refresh rate. Under the hood, it will apparently run on a MediaTek Dimensity 6300 chipset paired with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. Imaging-wise, it will carry a 108MP main camera along with two 2MP sensors and an 8MP front snapper. Powering it will be a 5,000mAh battery with 18W charging.
