Touch ‘n Go (TnG) has unveiled a new limited edition enhanced TnG card in collaboration with popular toy brand Hot Wheels. However, there is a catch. This version is exclusively sold at this year’s Malaysia Autoshow, which is set to be open to the public starting tomorrow until 26 May 2024.
The company revealed that only 2,000 of these NFC-enabled cards are on sale during the event, going for RM25 each. As such, don’t expect to see the Hot Wheels enhanced TnG cards sold outside of Malaysia Autoshow 2024, though it may be possible for them to appear online through resellers – at exorbitant prices, no less.
TnG will also be offering its NFC charms, which works similarly to the enhanced cards, during the event at a discounted price of RM27 (RRP: RM30). Its RFID tags are available at reduced pricing as well, coming in at RM30 each (RRP: RM35). Purchasers of the latter can have their tags fitted at the designated fitment area within the Autoshow for immediate use.
Additionally, the company says visitors who purchase products during the event at its booth will stand a chance to win 1 Year of Free Toll, with 10 winners to be selected in total. Extra entries can be earned by buying more products or participating in game activities at the location, with an additional five entries given for each game win.
