HONOR has announced the arrival of its latest tablet, the Pad 9. The tablet was launched alongside the Magic6 Pro and comes in two versions with Wi-Fi-only and 5G options. While former is already available for purchase, the latter will be coming to Malaysia next month.
The Pad 9 comes with a 12.1-inch 2.5K LCD display with a refresh rate of 120Hz and uniform bezels. It runs on a Qualcomm Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 chipset with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage, with the 5G version equipped with an additional microSD card slot for expansion. The tablet is also fitted with a total of eight speakers.
On the back is a 13MP camera while the front houses an 8MP sensor on the side bezel in a horizontal orientation. Powering the Pad 9 is an 8,300mAh battery with support for 35W charging. For connectivity, the tablet supports Wi-Fi 5 and Bluetooth 5.1.
The Pad 9 retails at RM1,499 for the Wi-Fi model while the price of the 5G version has not been announced yet, but the latter will be launching here on 19 April. It also comes with a smart bluetooth keyboard and a Choice Pencil for free, worth RM698. The tablet can be purchased through the brand’s website as well as its stores on Shopee, Lazada, TikTok, and authorised retailers.
