NVIDIA Begins Posting Teaser Of GeForce RTX 40 Super Series

And they're not being entirely too subtle about it.

With CES 2024 just over the horizon, NVIDIA has slowly but surely been breaking the ice with its upcoming GeForce RTX 40 Super Series graphics cards. As to how it’s been doing this, the brand recently released a shadowy picture of an alleged card from the series via its Facebook page.

We aren’t kidding when we say that it’s a shadowy picture. The alleged RTX 40 Super Series GPU is clearly that of NVIDIA’s Founders Edition (FE) shroud design, complete with the V-shaped LED strip that is also capable of RGB. Another dead giveaway of the FE design can be seen through the glimpse of the fan; all FE cards since the RTX 30 Series have used what the green cardmaker calls Dual Axis Flowthrough.

Like all teasers, the picture is of any useful information, with not even any text to it. Having said that, it’s pretty much an open secret at this point that NVIDIA plans on announcing the RTX 40 Super Series next week when CES 2024 kicks off. The company is expected to announce three SKUs: the RTX 4070 Super, the 4070 Ti Super, and the 4080 Super. The alleged full specifications of each card have already been released online, with the 4080 Super expected to ship out with the same 16GB GDDR6X memory as its non-Super sibling, albeit running at a slightly faster frequency of 23Gbps.

For that matter, the RTX 4070 Super and 4070 Ti Super are expected to maintain the same boost clocks as their non-Super variants, while their base clocks are supposedly slightly higher as well.
