Astro today has announced that it will be starting the new year by offering its customers complimentary limited-time access to six channels, which includes a free preview of its new HITS NOW (CH702). The other channels include HBO Hits (CH415), HBO Family (CH414), Showcase (CH413), K-Plus (CH396), and Moonbug (CH6118).
According to Astro, users can access the five channels for free starting 1 January 2024 until 31 March 2024. With this, they can enjoy films such as Moonfall and The Lost City on HBO HIts, The Lego Movie 2 and Bee Movie on HBO Family, timeless favourites such as Dolittle and Jurassic World on Showcase, educational content including Blippi and CoComelon on Moonbug, and the latest Korean drama and movies on K-Plus.
Meanwhile, the platform‘s all-new HITS NOW channel is promised to offer a live broadcast of the upcoming 75th Primetime EMMY Awards on 16 January 2024, along with other content including acclaimed dramas, comedies, game shows such as American Idol and Celebrity Family Feud. However, unlike the five that were mentioned above, access to this channel will only be available starting from 10 January 2024 until 31 March 2024.
Additionally, Astro also revealed that it is offering 30% off for its TV Packs, starting from only RM41.99 a month. Keep in mind that this particular promotion only applies to subscriptions with auto-debut signups, while certain terms and conditions apply.
