Marshall’s new Motiff II TWS earbuds are now available in Malaysia. Featured are numerous improvements over its predecessor, including a slightly updated design, better ANC, and a major boost in battery life.
The overall silhouette of each Marshall Motif II earbud are more or less the same as the first generation model. The stems now feature grippier textures and just beneath them are gold covers that give both buds a premium finish. Apart from the slight tweak to its design, another significant change is the materials used to construct its shell and accompanying case, which consists of 70% post-consumer recycled plastic. The buds and its case are rated at IPX5 and IPX4 respectively in terms of water resistance.
Inherited from its predecessor are the same 6mm dynamic drivers that’s capable of outputting audio within the 20Hz to 20kHz frequency range. Also making a return is the active noise cancelling (ANC) feature and touch controls, while its wireless connectivity is upgraded to Bluetooth 5.3 with low energy (LE) audio support.
Speaking of upgrades, receiving a significant boost is the battery, which allows the Motif II to last up to six hours per charge. Using it together with the charging case will grant you up to 30 hours of listening time, while a quick 15-minute charge can prove up to an hour’s worth of playback. Marshall adds that the case supports both wired and wireless charging capabilities.
The new Marshall Motif II is priced at RM959, and is now available via the brand’s official online stores on Shopee and Lazada. Alternatively, you can also pick it up from authorised retailers such as Harvey Norman, Vivid Concepts, Flash Gadgets, and Thundermatch.
