Razer, in partnership with the gamer lifestyle brand, Retrosuperfuture, announced its latest product, and it’s not one of its usual gaming peripherals. Instead, the brand is launching its first pair of glasses, dubbed Razersuperfuture (RSF).

“Razer is no stranger to the fashion scene, having collaborated with renowned fashion and lifestyle brands as well as launched our own lines of apparel,” said Addie Tan, Associate Director of Business Development at Razer. “We’re excited to work with Retrosuperfuture on our first eyewear to outfit the gamers from their gaming sessions to their everyday activities in our quest to outfit every aspect of the gamers’ world.”

As per the official press release, the Razersuperfuture is an exclusive pair of sunglasses, made with Retrosuperfuture’s “Italian craftmanship” and Razer’s signature “all-black with green accent” aesthestics. In terms of design, the sunglasses have some really chunky rims and temples, while the lenses themselves are high-tech and photochromic, allowing them to be used both indoors and outdoots. That, and it also comes with a blue light protection finish, so your eyes don’t water or get fatigued during prolonged gaming sessions. On that note, it should be mentioned that these glasses are liited edition too.

In addition to Razer’s collaboration with Retrosuperfuture, the Razersuperfuture will also curated by D-CAVE, the consumer marketplace that deals with digital and physical wearables. “Gaming and fashion have always been our passion, and we are thrilled to curate this partnership between two top brands like Razer and RSF,” Stefano Rosso, co-founder and CEO of D-CAVE, said. “We believe gaming and Web 3.0 will change the world for the upcoming generations and our role is to be there to facilitate and enhance the best lifestyle projects for this new group of digital culture communities.”
