Logitech has unveiled its Aurora Collection, its new gaming accessory lineup that is designed to be “gender-inclusive”. The collection includes a gaming headset, two keyboards, and a wireless mouse.
First up, we have the G735 wireless gaming headset which, of course, is fitted with RGB on the rotatable ear cups. It comes with a cardioid boom mic on the right side with real-time voice filters using Blue VO!CE technology. It weighs 260 grams, has 40mm audio drivers, as well as a 3.5mm headphone jack in case you want to go analog, although no cable is included.
The G735, which costs RM949, can connect wirelessly up to 20 meters with Logitech’s low-latency Lightspeed USB receiver or with Bluetooth. The headset charges with USB-C and it boasts a battery life of 16 hours with RGB enabled and up to a whopping 56 hours with the lighting turned off.
The collection also comes with the G715 and the G713 gaming keyboards, which are essentially the same except for the G715 being wireless. Coming in White Mist, the keyboards feature textured keycaps, a volume roller, media control buttons, RGB lighting, and the option of either linear or tactile GX mechanical switches.
The G715 connects wirelessly using a Lightspeed receiver or Bluetooth, with Logitech promising a 25-hour battery life with RGB enabled. Both the G715 and the G713, priced at RM799 and RM699 respectively, come with an included cloud-shaped palm rest.
Last but not least, the Logitech Aurora collection includes the G705 wireless gaming mouse. The mouse has a contoured shape to be inclusive of gamers with smaller hands. It is equipped with RGB lighting, six fully programmable buttons, Bluetooth, and Lightspeed technology.
The brand claims that the mouse’s rechargeable battery can last 40 hours with RGB turned on. The G705 weighs 85 grams and has switchable resolution settings between 100 to 8,200 DPI. The wireless mouse is the cheapest of the bunch, costing RM399.
While all these Aurora products only come in white, Logitech is also selling a bunch of accessories for users to customise their gender-inclusive tech, although the pricing has yet to be revealed. You can buy pink and green ear cups and boom mics separately for the G735, as well as pink and green keycaps and top plates for the keyboards.
