Details allegedly belonging to an Intel ARC A770 desktop graphics card have made an appearance. More specifically, it appeared on the benchmark site, Geekbench.

The discovery of the A770’s performance details was first posted on Twitter by the online repository, Benchleaks (@BenchLeaks), along with details of the other components that the card was supposedly tested with. Based on the list, the A770 desktop GPU was paired with an intel Core i5-9600K, and that the card had 12.7GB of graphics memory allocated, which could translate to 16GB of GDDR6 memory. Further, the card is listed as having a maximum clock of 2.4GHz.

As for the OpenCL benchmarks, the alleged A770 is shown to be only moderately fast with a score of 85585 point overall. By comparison, that’s actually slower than NVIDIA’s GeForce RTX 3060 desktop GPU, which scored 89012 points in the same benchmark.

Beyond that, the GeekBench listing provides no further details about its internal specifications, save for the fact that it appears to be equipped with 512EUs, which is the official designation of its Compute Units by Intel. According to online rumours, however, the card is expected to have about 4096 FP32 Cores, 16GB of GDDR6 memory, and a TDP of 175W. In any case, we’ll just have to wait until later this year to learn more, assuming there are no more delays from now until Intel’s “summer” launch.
