GrabLive, Grab‘s live selling platform that first debuted in Thailand and Vietnam, is now officially available in Malaysia. Currently in beta, the feature is set to pilot its first ever local live stream later today at 2pm and 4pm.

In conjunction with the upcoming Hari Raya celebrations, the company is collaborating with popular and well known local brands such as LILIT and Zalora to host the “Glam Raya Bersama Grab” fashion preview event on GrabLive. Apart from showcasing the latest Raya-themed collections from the brands and their designers, viewers can also expect first-hand styling tips and guides from the live stream, as well as exclusive deals, discounts and special giveaways.

As mentioned earlier, GrabLive’s first live event will run later today at two different time slots. The first will feature a special TAS fashion showcase by Zalora from 2pm to 3pm, while the second live stream will feature a special presentation by local brand LILIT from 4pm to 5pm. Both programmes are hosted by popular fashion personality Bella Zahir.

To access the feature, launch the Grab mobile app and scroll down to “Keep discovering” to locate the GrabLive (BETA) button. Upon tapping on it, you’ll be prompted to choose your country and mobile number. Completing that, Grab will send you a 6-digit verification code via SMS to the number that you’ve keyed in. Once verified, the app will then launch GrabLive via a web browser app after you’ve acknowledged its privacy policy prompt.

On that note, keep in mind that agreeing to this will allow Grab and BeLive Technology (its partner and live streaming service provider) to access some of your information. According to  the prompt, these include details such as your name, email address and location. For further information regarding the “Glam Raya Bersama Grab” live stream, please visit Grab’s website via the link provided below.
