OSIM is not a name that you would usually associate with gaming but changed last year when Acer roped it in as a partner to craft the Predator Massage Gaming Chair which is itself based on OSIM uThrone. The Singaporean company has since launched yet another gaming massage chair called uThrone S which is now available for pre-order from OSIM Malaysia.
As the story goes, the new gaming massage chair is already available for pre-order in our market since late August but our radar somehow missed it. In general, the uThrone S is a more rudimentary gaming massage chair when compared to the uThrone.
As opposed to the original uThrone which comes with an elaborate multi-mode neck, shoulder, and lumbar massage apparatus together with built-in Bluetooth speakers, the uThrone S only offers vibration massage. That being said, gamers can still choose any of the three massage intensity settings through the button located on the left side of the chair.
In addition to that, the chair also comes with a charging port for the optional uCozy 3D neck and shoulder massage pillow. Together with recline angle of up to 155° and adjustable armrests, the uThrone S is also equipped with a side hook for gamers to mount their headset when not in use.

In terms of pricing, the standard uThrone S is currently available for pre-order at RM1,788 while the Marvel version goes for slightly higher at RM1,988. In regards to the Marvel x OSIM uThrone S, one can choose to obtain it with either Captain America, Iron Man, or Spider-Man theme.
