The budget-oriented realme C Series has received yet another new member today for Malaysia in the form of the realme C21Y. Just like previous models under the series, the new phone is packed with a large display and battery.
At a glance, you may think that the C21Y is the C21 that realme launched in Malaysia back in March. That’s not far away from the truth indeed, as both phones are indeed very similar to each other in so many ways.
Aside from having a similar physical design, the C21Y also has a 6.5-inch HD+ display and 5MP selfie camera just like the C21. The same goes for its rear camera module which contains a 13MP main camera alongside 2MP monochrome and 2MP macro cameras.
The similarities didn’t stop there though as the C21Y comes with an identical battery capacity as per C21 at 5000mAh. However, realme has opted to equip an Unisoc T610 processor into C21Y while the previously released C21 featured a MediaTek Helio G35.
At the same time, the C21Y comes with 4GB of RAM and 64GB internal storage which are more than what C21 has provided to users five months ago. That being said, the C21Y does cost slightly higher than its older counterpart at RM 549 and is now readily available at all realme’s Authorised Stores throughout Malaysia.
