MYEG’s online grocery store BELI (previously known as NAK BELI) is now offering same-day delivery for customers living in Petaling Jaya, thanks to two newly opened BELI Mart physical grocery stores in Puchong and SS15 Subang Jaya. The two stores are part of a pilot programme for same-day delivery, with similar stores being planned in high-density areas in the near future.

For now, PJ customers can shop using BELI’s official website and get same-day delivery between 10am to 5pm for free if they spend a minimum of RM50 and above. To do this, they have to click on the “Same Day Delivery” tab on the website and pick the preferred location closest to them.

“Apart from the e-commerce platform and Facebook Live selling, we are expanding with multiple physical stores and looking to open up to 50 stores within the next two years in high-density suburban neighbourhoods throughout the country,” said MYEG Group Managing Director TS Wong.

For BELI, Wong said the company was adopting the online-to-offline business model to give consumers a choice on how they want to shop. He added that the economies of scale gained from bulk purchases would also enable them to pass on savings to consumers.

There are plans to launch the BELI mobile app in May to enable users to shop on the go. They will also get additional benefits such as extra savings via a subscription plan, loyalty points, and access to simple recipes with the ability to put the ingredients straight into their shopping cart at the click of a button.

For more information on BELI, you can visit its official website.
