Celcom today has officially launched its new Celcom MAX plan that was originally unveiled last month. The plan is an all-new convergence offering that combines both of the telco’s Home Fibre and MEGA mobile postpaid subscriptions into a standalone package and a single bill.

According to the telco, benefits of subscribing to Celcom MAX that are offered to customers include lifetime monthly rebates, additional savings for “the latest productivity and entertainment devices”, and access to “endless entertainment and content.”

The new convergence plan itself arrives with three options available to customers, which provides different Home Fibre packages paired with a RM80 MEGA mobile postpaid plan. The 100Mbps option is offered at RM179 per month, 300Mbps at RM199/month, and the larger 500Mbps option at RM259/month.

As noted in our previous report, the new MAX subscriptions provide customers with a lifetime savings of RM21 every month, together with unlimited high-speed internet, unlimited calls on mobile, and a free AX router for homes. The telco noted that those subscribed to 300Mbps plan are entitled to receive two TP-Link Deco X20 Mesh Wi-Fi 6 devices for free, while those under the 100Mbps and 300Mbps package can opt to include them for an additional RM25 for 24 months per pair.

Celcom explained that the included MEGA postpaid plan comes with 40GB of high-speed data with unlimited calls to all networks and RM0.20 per SMS. Customers can opt to upgrade the mobile package to feature faster speeds or unlimited data quota at an additional cost.

Besides that, the telco is also offering MAX subscribers with bundled deals for devices, where they can obtain a Surface Go 2 LTE and Surface Pro X with discounts of up to RM 638 and a Sharp Android TV with discounts of up to RM 2,599. Additionally, a free 6-month subscription for streaming services iQiYI, WeTV iflix, and Dimsum is also included. For the latter, Celcom said that it is aware of Dimsum’s upcoming closure, and will still provide the service for the time being. It also noted that new streaming options will be introduced in the near future.
