Earlier in the year, Samsung brought the Galaxy A01 into the Malaysian market. Now the company is bringing in another variant, the Samsung Galaxy A01 Core. And as the Core suffix suggests, this Core edition model is a lot simpler than the base device.
The Galaxy A01 Core comes with a 5.3-inch HD+ screen, a quad-core 1.5GHz chipset, 1GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage, with microSD support for up to 512GB. The battery is rated at 3000mAh. As for its operating system, it runs Android 10 Go, rather than the standard version.
For its cameras, the Samsung Galaxy A01 Core comes with a 8MP main camera and a 5MP front-facing camera. Other items on the device include a Micro-USB charging port, a 3.5mm audio jack, Bluetooth 5.0 and WiFi 802.11n connectivity.
If you’re interested in getting an entry level phone, then you’ll be glad to know that the Galaxy A01 Core is priced at RM329. Samsung Malaysia also says that the device is available starting today.
