Joompa, the matchmaking app, is now available for download in Malaysia. While several other matchmaking apps exist, what sets this particular apart from the crowd is that it is designed and catered towards single Muslim adults in the market for love.
Founded by Anissa Hassan who is also a matchmaker in her own right from Singapore, the Joompa app derives its name from the Malay word “jumpa”, with the translation of the word being self-explanatory. Instead of hooking people up for just a good time though, the app is designed to take things a step further by getting its customers hooked up for life, literally.
Like most online dating apps on the market, Joompa comes with compatibility meter that matches the ratings for both users. After answering a few questions about marriage, users are also encouraged to get information about themselves verified so as to provide a safe environment for other users too.
Joompa’s subscriptions start from RM94.90 per month, RM154.90 for three months, and RM192.90 for six months. Additionally, there’s a Premium Membership Plan that’ll cost you RM244.90, but it’s only for a six month period as well instead of annually. The app is already available for download on Google Play and the Apple App Store.
