In conjunction with our country’s National Day, Samsung is hosting an event known as Gemilang Celebration. The event, which starts today and will last until 30 September 2020, will see several items in Samsung’s product lineup to either be bundled with free gifts or have their pricetag slashed during the promotion period.
In regards to the latter, those of you interested in purchasing a Samsung-branded 4K Smart TV for yourselves may want to consider the 58-inch variant of the Q60T QLED 4K TV. Originally retailing for RM5499, the Korean electronics giant has reduced the price of the TV by RM1000 for the duration of the special promotion.
Specs-wise, the TV has a 100% colour volume and uses Samsung’s Quantum Dot technology, enabling it to churn out extremely vivid and punchy colours. Also, it supports HDR10+ via Quantum HDR and the onboard Quantum Processor Lite SoC.
On another note, Samsung is also discounting the 58-inch variant of its TU7000 4K Smart TV. Originally priced at RM3299, Samsung has reduced the price of this model by RM500, bringing the price down to RM2799. Unlike the Q60T, the TU7000 doesn’t come equipped with Samsung’s Quantum Dot technology, but it does utilise a Crystal Display that produces equally vivid and true-to-life colours on the TV. Thanks on no small part to the Crystal Processor 4K SoC within the TV.
