The two recent free games on the Epic Games Store have been massive, to say the least. The first one was GTA V, which was followed by Civilization VI. But it seems like a leak predicted that these games will be given away before it happened. And it predicts two more major titles will be given away in the future.
A leak was posted on Reddit around the time GTA V was given away for free last week. Beyond the two games that have already been given, the leak suggests that Borderlands: The Handsome Collection and ARK: Survival Evolved are next in line to be the free EGS games.
Normally, leaks like these are either taken with a healthy pinch of salt, or not taken seriously at all. After all, the leak itself looks like a picture of a monitor showing the details taken using a phone. This only makes the leak more suspect.
But now that two of the leaks turn out to be accurate, there’s more reason to take it a bit more seriously. That being said, it should still be taken with a healthy pinch of salt. Whether or not the remaining two free games on the Epic Games Store ends up being accurate, we’ll find out soon enough.
