Grab is a huge name not only in Malaysia but other countries within the Southeast Asia as well. Given the fact each market might have different needs, Grab does offer some services that are only available in certain markets and one of the recent examples is a service called GrabDriveYourCar.

Offered in Thailand since a few months ago, GrabDriveYourCar allows you to ask for a driver from Grab to drive your vehicle. Based on the promotion images that we’ve seen, it looks like Grab is targeting this service to those that love to have drink out sessions.

With a base price of THB 350 (~RM 48), there is an additional fee of THB 100 (~RM 14) for every 5km. It goes without saying that the driver that Grab provided for this service have went through proper training and the company has even provided special outfit to these drivers to make sure that customers can identify them properly.

It is not known whether Grab is going to offer such service in other market but in a way, this service might be helpful in curbing drunk driving. On another hand, some might not feel confident enough to let other people drive their vehicle but then again, it is better to be safe than sorry.
