A few weeks ago, Apple has introduced the brand-new 16-inch MacBook Pro which subsequently replaced the 15-inch model that the company has introduced earlier this year. Despite not being made available through Apple Malaysia’s website, you can still obtain a unit from local Apple Authorised Resellers (AAR).
A quick check at a number of Apple Premium Resellers (APR) including Machines, Switch (shown below), and Mac City showed that the 2019 15-inch MacBook Pro can now be obtained for a starting price of RM 9,299. Prior to this, the MacBook was priced at RM 10,499 which as you might know is now the starting price for the newly announced 16-inch model instead.
At that price point, you able to obtain the notebook with 2.6GHz Intel Core i7-9750H 6-core processor alongside 16GB DDR4-2400 RAM, 256GB solid state drive, and AMD Radeon Pro 555X graphics. From there, you can also choose to have the higher-end variant which includes the more powerful 2.3GHz Intel Core i9-9880H chip and AMD Radeon Pro 560X graphics as well as a larger 512GB solid state drive.
