[Update] CIMB Clicks App Inaccessible Until 10PM; Currently Undergoing Maintenance

[Update 10pm] The ‘maintenance’ window for the CIMB App has been extended to 6am tomorrow. At time of writing, the CIMBClicks online banking service also remains inaccessible.

—-Original Story Follows—-

If you’re a customer of CIMB, and you make use of its CIMB Clicks mobile app, you may have noticed that it’s been inaccessible for awhile. If you’re wondering why, CIMB Malaysia has announced that it’s currently undergoing maintenance. As part of the announcement, the maintenance means that the mobile app will not be accessible until 10PM today.

In the meantime, CIMB Malaysia has suggested available alternatives to the app that would serve the same purpose. One of it the CIMB Clicks website itself, while another is the CIMB Enhanced Virtual Assistant app. The latter is fortunately a separate app on its own, and is unaffected by the CIMB Clicks app’s downtime.

Important Notice: We are experiencing a technical issue with CIMB Clicks. Our technical team is working on fixing the issue. We apologise for the inconvenience caused and will keep you posted.

CIMB’s online banking site has also been experiencing intermittent connection issues since early today morning. A quick check on CIMB’s Official Facebook page reveals frustrated customers posting up numerous complaints since early today morning.

The bank has not given any reason for the downtime beyond an unspecified technical issue. This has been a recurring issue for CIMB’s online banking services, especially at the end of the month. For what it’s worth, CIMB Malaysia says that it’s already working on a fix.
