Following the recent revelation by the Minister of Communications and Multimedia, TM today has submitted its plan to address the issues faced by Streamyx customers. Among the steps that the company will put into action is the reduction of monthly price for Streamyx.

Unveiled at the Kembara Digital Malaysia roadshow in Ipoh, the price reduction is being done through the introduction of a new package that provides Internet speed of up to 8Mbps at RM 89 per month. This package will be made available for existing Streamyx customers for RM 69 per month.

TM has also revealed that it will be launching wireless broadband to support Streamyx customers while the company is rolling out new technologies to deliver better Internet experience to them. To be positioned under its existing #khabarbaik programme, more details will be announced by TM at later date.
