While not usually something you see in Malaysia, the Anglosphere can sometimes have really crazy cross promotions where games are bundled with some sort of food. But it looks like Domino’s Pizza Australia has the most outrageous one of them all with this latest one. With the special Pizza and Gaming Bundle, you also get a copy of Final Fantasy XIV (FF XIV) Complete Edition for PC.
The bundle itself consists of three large pizzas, a garlic bread, a drink, and of course, a digital download code for FF XIV. It’s a pretty good deal, since the cost for delivering the set is AUD59.95 (~RM172), the same price as the game itself. Customers who pick up the order themselves can have the combo at AUD53.95 (~RM155).
Of course, the promotion won’t last forever. There are only 10000 codes to be given away, and even if they’re not all redeemed, the promo will still come to an end on 28 July 2019. There also looks to be some inconsistency with regards to the drink, as the promotional image states 1.25l, while the terms and conditions reads 1.5l.
Either way, if you happen to be in Australia, this looks like a pretty good deal to pass up. Despite the 28 July promo end date, with a mere 10000 available promo codes, it’s quite likely the promo will end prematurely. Hopefully the pizza chain does something for the upcoming TV series as well, and for other countries too.
