Tencent Games has recently announced the first ever official PlayerUnknown’s Battleground (PUBG) Mobile tournament for Malaysia. Aptly called the PUBG Mobile Malaysia National Championship (PMNC) 2018, there are four qualifiers throughout the country.
The first qualifier for PMNC takes place this week on 22 December in Paradigm Mall, Johor Bahru before moving on to Karamunsing Complex in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah for the second qualifier event on 25 December. The qualifier stage of the tournament then continues on after the new year with the third qualifier at Emart Batu Kawa in Kuching, Sarawak on 6 January 2019 before the final qualifier takes place on 12 January 2019 at Sunway Velocity in Cheras, Kuala Lumpur.
Sunway Velocity will also be the host for PMNC Grand Finals on 26 January 2019. Over there, top 4 teams from each qualifier event will be meeting each other to obtain their share of prize money with a total cash prize of RM 60,000 up for grabs.
