How To Seamlessly Stay Connected During Your Overseas Vacation with Yoodo

Welcome to the year-end season, where many of us would be taking a much-deserved break. For some, that could mean a trip outside of the country.

While obtaining local SIM cards might generally sound like a good idea, it could be challenging to obtain them though due to not only currency differences but also language barriers. Alternatively, you can switch to your roaming plan but many of those are rather complicated and requires specific steps which could be a little bit more technical for some.

For some roaming plan, you were only given a few hundred MB of data per day which might not be enough if you planning to put up every single moment of your vacation on Instagram.  With Yoodo though, these shouldn’t the problem anymore.

Made possible by its Roam Like Home feature, Yoodo allows its customers to utilize their Malaysian plan in 53 countries throughout the world. As an example, if your plan has 10GB of data, 100 minutes of voice calls, and 50 SMSes, you will have access to them during your trip for a daily fee or RM 10 or RM 20 depending on the countries that you visited.

You don’t even have to worry if you used up all the data, voice calls, or SMSes in your plan during your overseas vacation. All you have to do in order to replenish them is purchase a booster through Yoodo’s app – just like in Malaysia. In fact, the mobile app is where all the action takes place when it comes to Yoodo.

For those who are not familiar with Yoodo, it is a fully digital telco that offers customers the ability to customize their own mobile plan. In other words, it is the customers themselves that decide how big the data pool they want for themselves as well as the amount of voice call and SMSes they would like to have as part of their mobile plan.

All of these customizations can be done easily through its mobile app which is available for both Android and Apple devices. Running on Celcom’s vast 4G LTE network, Yoodo is now giving away 20GB (in the form of RM 20 credit) until 31 December 2018 which should come in handy for your overseas vacation soon.
