Earlier this morning, Microsoft revealed the retail prices of the Surface Go for the Malaysian market. Now, the company just updated the tablet’s product listings on Lazada: the Surface Go will be available locally from 28 August onwards.
On top of that, Microsoft also added two new listings of the Surface Go on its official Lazada store. Both the 64GB + 4GB RAM and 128GB + 8GB RAM models are now bundled with a Type Cover. The former retails from RM2,148, while the 128GB variant goes from RM2,798.
If you’re wondering if the bundle offers additional discount, the answer is no, unfortunately. The two new listings just make it easier to get the Surface Go and Type Cover together. Alternatively, you can get the 64GB and 128GB Surface Go on their own for RM1,749 and RM2,399 respectively. If you also want to purchase the Surface Pen or Surface Mobile Mouse with the tablet, you’ll have to get them separately too.
Considering the fact that the Surface Go is much more affordable than the more powerful Surface Pro, it doesn’t come with very high-end hardware. It features a 10-inch 1800 x 1200 3:2 display, an Intel Pentium Gold 4415Y processor, an 8MP rear camera, a 5MP front-facing shooter with Windows Hello support, a USB-C 3.1 port, and Windows 10 Pro out of the box.
The Microsoft Surface Go is currently available for pre-order in Malaysia on Lazada. According to their respective product listings, the tablet and its accompanying accessories will tentatively ship on 28 August.
