The OnePlus 6 hasn’t even been introduced yet, but OnePlus just confirmed it is working on an Avengers-themed variant of the upcoming phone. Much like the Star Wars-branded OnePlus 5T, the Avengers OnePlus 6 will likely be exclusive to the Indian market.
Unfortunately, there are no pictures of the Avengers edition OnePlus 6, which is understandable – the standard phone isn’t even in the market yet. We do know, however, that the phone will feature a notch at the top of the display – it’s something Carl Pei (the co-founder of OnePlus) has discussed quite a bit.
Notch aside, other specifications of the OnePlus 6 include a Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 chipset, at least 128GB of internal storage, and some form of water-resistance. Based on leaked images of the phone, it appears OnePlus is retaining the 3.5mm headphone jack as well, along with the rear fingerprint sensor.
Although the Avengers-themed OnePlus 6 will likely only be sold in India, it may be brought into Malaysia by local retailers. G Store, for one, brought in the Star Wars OnePlus 5T to our shores – it wouldn’t be far-fetched to assume the special edition OnePlus 6 will be made available here too.
It’s still not known yet exactly when the OnePlus 6 will be officially announced. Seeing how the company already confirmed the Avengers-themed OnePlus 6, we reckon the phone will be unveiled soon.
