More Xiaomi Accessories Are Now Officially Available In Malaysia, Including Amazfit BIP Smartwatch

Xiaomi Malaysia has announced the arrival of several more of its popular Mi ecosystem accessories that will be available here. The Mi Electric Toothbrush, Mi x Miha Precision Screwdriver, and even the Amazfit BIP are now all listed at the official Mi Store in Lazada.

The Mi ecosystem products are very popular with consumers due to their high quality and affordable prices. We’ve seen a number of them slowly coming to Malaysia after Xiaomi inked a partnership deal with a few distributors in the country – that’s also why we’re seeing more physical Mi Stores popping up across Malaysia.

This time around, the new accessories include the Huami Amazfit BIP smartwatch. Announced only in February, the Amazfit BIP has a design that’s similar to the Pebble Time and Apple Watch. The square display is a 1.28-inch transflective colour display that is the key to the long battery life. Thanks to the low power consumption of the display, the Bip can last for 45 days on a single charge of the 190mAh battery. Even when turning on other sensors the battery life only goes down to around 22 hours – still pretty respectable for a smartwatch.

Speaking of sensors, the IP68-rated Amazfit BIP comes with a slew of them, including a PPG heart rate sensor, triaxial acceleration sensor, geomagnetic sensor, barometric pressure sensor, and GPS + GLONASS. The screen is an always-on display which has indicators for activity tracking, sleep monitoring, and of course, the time.

The best part? The Huami Amazfit BIP carries a price tag of $99 (about RM385) internationally, but it is available for just RM299 in Malaysia. Four colours are listed on the Mi Store in Lazada: Black, Green, Red, and White.

Besides the Amazfit BIP, Xiaomi Malaysia is also bringing in two variants of the ANC in-ear earphones here. Both retail for RM249, but are slightly different in specs and compatibility. The Mi ANC Type C In-Ear Earphones is compatible only with the Mi 5 and Mi Mix 2 (it likely will support newer models), and feature titanium earbuds with support for Hi-Res Audio. On the other hand, the 3.5mm Mi Noise Cancelling Earphones has two levels of ANC, and has a metal shirt clip to keep the earphones from moving about.

Finally, there are the other two interesting accessories. The Mi Electric Toothbrush is very affordable for what it offers compared to the competition. At just RM148, the Mi Electric Toothbrush has 3 brushing modes, has a rust-free and metal-free brush head, and a connected app that reminds you when it is time to change the brush head. For those who are extremely particular, the app will also score your brushing session, thanks to the high-precision sensors embedded in the toothbrush.

For the DIY lovers, the Mi x Wiha Precision Screwdriver set is a must-have. Made with Wiha, a German high-end tool brand, the set consists of 24 different batch heads that have double rust treatment. The aluminium handle has an anti-skid treatment on the surface, while the entire case is made from sexy matte aluminium alloy. The entire set retails for just RM88.

All the Mi ecosystem accessories are now available at the official Mi Store in Lazada. Some physical Mi Stores around the country will also have them in stock.
