HTC’s first flagship for 2017, the oft-forgotten HTC U11, is seeing some solid discounts. Despite being one of the better flagships from last year, it was overshadowed by more interesting lineups from Samsung, Huawei, and Apple.
As a result, the HTC U11 barely gets a look when considering a flagship smartphone in this side of the world. With a Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 processor, 6GB of RAM, 128GB of expandable storage, a new pressure-sensitive side for new interactions, and a 12MP UltraPixel 3 rear camera that’s very highly rated, this is a pretty solid phone.
Originally retailing at RM3099 at launch last year, the HTC U11 can now be purchased for a huge 30% off that price. The popular G Store in Lazada is offering the U11 for just RM2188 – RM911 off the original retail price.
But that’s not the lowest price we found. Another seller in Lazada is offering the phone for RM2169, with the same 1 year local manufacturer warranty.
On the other hand, the lowest price we found for the HTC U11 is RM2149, from a seller in Shopee. However, there is a small RM5.04 shipping fee that will apply at checkout.
For just above RM2000, this is an excellent device – it is a better performer than any of the four mid-range smartphones in that price range that we recently tested – even if this phone is about a year old. Our HTC U11 in-depth review explains more.
