Asus has finally brought the ROG G-Shock watch into Malaysia. The catch is that the limited edition watch is not for sale, and can only be obtained by buying an ROG gaming laptop from one of the participating dealers.
The watch is being given away under two different promotions. Firstly, there is the “buy to redeem” promotion; where 100 units of the ROG G-Shock will be given away with purchases of the GL503 Scar Edition, GL703, GL703 Scar Edition, GX501, or G703 from selected ROG Malaysia authorised dealers.
Customers are then required to keep the receipt in order to fill out the redemption form to claim their watch. Those who have successfully claimed a unit will be contacted within two week to verify their personal details.
Alternatively, customers can purchase a GL553VD, GL553VE, or GL503 Hero Edition to enter into the lucky draw competition. There are 16 units of the watch to be given out over the course of the promotion.
The ROG x G-Shock promotion is set to run from today until 25 April, with lucky draw announcements being made once a week during this time.
