However, the brand itself is rather quiet in Malaysia for the past few years. Nevertheless, things have begun to change last month though as Creative has finally decided to renew its effort in Malaysia by working together with Convergent Distribution as its new partner in our market.
Hence, consumers here should be able to see a number of newer Creative products begin to appear at stores. Among them is the Sound BlasterX Katana which is a 2.1 sound bar that is designed for gaming and comes complete with Dolby Digital decoder as well as a customizable RGB lighting setup in the form of Aurora Reactive Lighting System.
Creative also has plenty of wireless speakers in its line-up including the iRoar Go which is said to be the smallest and lightest 5-driver Bluetooth speaker in the world. Not only that, the NFC-equipped speaker is splash-proof up to IPX6 standard and can be utilized as an external sound card when used with PC or Mac.
For users that require a more compact Bluetooth speaker, they can opt for MUVO 2c which is dust and splash-proof up to IP66 standard. With a battery life of up to 6 hours, users are also able to utilize it as a stand-alone MP3 player with the help of speaker’s microSD card reader.
If they need an even more compact Bluetooth speaker, they might want to consider the NUNO Micro. While it might not offer many of the advanced features as per other Creative’s Bluetooth speakers that we mentioned earlier, this particular model is so compact that it can fit into one’s palm and only weight around 180grams.
Creative has also produces the Outlier Sports wireless in-ear headphones which are meant for users with active lifestyle. Built to withstand sweat according to the IPX4 standard, it offers up to 11 hours of battery which means users need to worry about being cut out from music and calls even during long workouts or runs.
