Specifications of of the Nokia 9 have leaked into the public sphere thanks to the American FCC. A detailed list of the hardware was presented in the RF test report, giving us an accurate description of what we should be seeing early next year.
The Nokia 9 fits a 5.5-inch OLED display, which is an upgrade over the IPS panel on the current Nokia 8 smartphone. It also packs proper 2017 flagship specifications by using the Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 mobile platform, a 3250mAh battery, and 128GB of storage. That said, the FCC table didn’t include the amount of RAM available.
It looks like Nokia will be including a 12 + 13MP dual camera on the smartphone, which is about expected for any flagship device that’s expected to compete on the market. A small 5MP front camera has also been included as part of the package.
There’s no telling when the Nokia 9 will actually be made available; since it seems to have missed the holiday period for this year. It should be announced in early 2018, seeing that it has cleared FCC certification.
