It has been close to a year since we’ve seen the reveal trailer of The Last of Us Part II. Well, at Paris Games Week 2017, a lengthy new trailer for the upcoming game has been revealed, and be warned – it’s pretty darn gruesome.
This new trailer of The Last of Us Part II is in fact an in-game cutscene running on a PlayStation 4 Pro, and it didn’t show Ellie or Joel. Instead, it reveals quite a number of brand new characters. That being said, Neil Druckmann – the director and writer of the upcoming sequel – assured fans that the game “is still very much about Ellie and Joel.”
The Last of Us Part II is expected to be released sometime in 2018. Those who can’t wait to learn more about the game will be happy to know that we “won’t have to wait as long for the next big reveal,” as Druckmann puts it.
