So far, Xiaomi only has one physical store in Malaysia, and it’s located in Penang. More recently, however, two more Xiaomi stores have popped up closer to the Klang Valley: Suria KLCC and IOI City Mall. Well, we have received info that the former will be opening its doors on 27 October.
Our source – who is familiar with the matter – revealed to us that the Xiaomi Store in Suria KLCC will have its grand opening on 27 October. This is in line with what we were told beforehand by Xiaomi itself, which planned to open the physical store sometime next month.
The Mi Premium Reseller Store in Penang.
At the moment, it’s still not known yet just what the Xiaomi Store in Suria KLCC will carry. Chances are, however, it will be similar to the Mi Premium Reseller Store in Penang; the Suria KLCC store will likely carry Xiaomi’s range of smartphones and accessories. If we’re being optimistic, perhaps the store will even sell Mijia smart products under the company’s Mi Ecosystem.
Regardless, we’ll know for sure once the Xiaomi Store in Suria KLCC opens its doors on 27 October. Rest assured, we will be there at the grand opening to see just what the store has to offer.
