Maxis, Digi and Celcom Teases New Red iPhone 7, Coming Soon

The brand new (Product) RED iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus will go on sale later tonight. Available in 128GB and 256GB storage options, they maintain the same retail price of existing iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus starting from RM3,699 and RM4,299 respectively. For those of you who do not wish to fork out so much cash to get the new iPhones, you’re in luck. Major telcos in Malaysia including Maxis, Digi and Celcom have already teased the new red iPhone 7’s, and have listed them as “coming soon”.

Maxis is the most straightforward telco, directly listing the red iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus as coming soon on its website.

Digi and Celcom are slightly more cryptic with their announcements. They have both posted a small teaser on their Facebook pages. Digi’s teaser features a red apple with a bite taken out of it, along with the caption that says “take a bite of some RED!”; no prize for guessing what they mean.

Celcom’s teaser features a receiver of an old-school corded telephone in red colour. There’s nothing else on it, except for a note saying “coming soon” as well.

None of these telcos mentioned anything about the pricing of the new Product (RED) iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus, but since they have the same retail price of existing iPhone 7’s, the device bundle price should remain the same.

Check out Maxis, Digi and Celcom’s iPhone 7 bundle to see the prices, or check out our price comparison for a summary of all the prices in one page. Do note that Apple is only offering the Product (RED) iPhone 7 duo in 128GB and 256GB, no 32GB. Meanwhile, check out our announcement post to find out more about what the whole red iPhone is all about. The Product (RED) iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus will go on sale at 11:01pm tonight, 24 March 2017.
