UPDATE 22 March: The Lazada 5th birthday sale is now on, and the OnePlus 3T is now listed at RM1,999 – the free RM75 Lazada voucher is still listed (though we cannot confirm if they are still available).
The OnePlus 3T will officially be available in Malaysia from tomorrow, but it appears e-commerce giant Lazada is already offering the device at a more attractive price.
As part of its pre-birthday sale, the OnePlus 3T can be purchased at RM2,095.26 – exactly 6% off the RM2,229 retail price. This discount will only be reflected when adding the product to cart, so don’t panic if the offer does not show on the product page.
To further sweeten the deal, Lazada will also give out RM75 shopping vouchers to the first 100 buyers of the device. The vouchers will be sent via email after the 14-day return period is over. This effectively means the OnePlus 3T will cost RM2,025.26 including the surprise discount.
That being said, the local units are priced higher than what you could get the device for in the grey market. Still, for the less adventurous, a fraction above RM2,000 is a pretty good deal for a refresh of one of our favourite smartphones of 2016.
